How to use

  1. Enter repeater settings as comma-separated whole numbers from 1 to 4.
  2. Set a target duration and nominal TPS to get the minimum repeater count and a setting for each one.

Examples

Repeater chain 4,4,2 at 20 TPS

10 redstone ticks; 20 game ticks; 1 second

Target 0.15 seconds at 20 TPS

One repeater set to 2; 0.2 seconds, 0.05 seconds overshoot

Supported versions & limitations

This tool uses a mathematical or browser-format model; it does not depend on a game command codec.

  • This is a nominal serial-delay model. It does not simulate locking, pulse stretching, comparator behavior or circuit topology.
  • Requested durations round up to whole redstone ticks. Lag makes actual elapsed time variable; TPS is supplied by you, not queried.

Frequently asked questions

Why are two tick units shown?

One modeled redstone tick is two game ticks. At 20 TPS it is 0.1 seconds.

Is this a repeating clock simulator?

No. The result is a delay chain and a target-delay arrangement, not a simulated clock or circuit.
