How to use

  1. Use Add pool and Add item entry, then edit the JSON tree for conditions, counts and composite children. Rolls are per pool.
  2. Choose a safe namespace:path ID. Download JSON for the payload or ZIP for pack.mcmeta and versioned data directories. Install only in a world you control.

Examples

Two items with weights 1 and 3, one roll

Without conditions, selection probabilities are 25% and 75%.

Uniform count minimum 1, maximum 3

A selected entry requests an integer count from 1 through 3.

Supported versions & limitations

Verified Java dataset: 1.21.11

  • Generic context, item/empty/composite entries, random_chance and set_count are supported. World-dependent predicates and other loot functions are rejected explicitly.
  • Java 1.21.11 data pack format 94.1 only. This website generates files locally and does not activate packs or run commands.

Frequently asked questions

Is the ZIP a real datapack?

Yes. It contains pack.mcmeta and the resource JSON in the singular Java 1.21.11 directory. ZIP integrity is checked independently.

How are generated files validated?

Fixtures pass the official offline Java 1.21.11 codecs. Unknown fields, invalid IDs, unsafe paths and oversized inputs are rejected; a live world is not simulated.
